Winston Churchill Collection (Nr. 214)

The Swiss Winston Churchill Foundation was organized in 1966, a year after the death of Churchill. A „Churchill Bibliothek" was also founded. Later this library moved to the University Library of Zürich. In 2006 the University Library offered the duplicate copies of their collection to our institution (2200 volumes).
The Winston Churchill Collection holds book on the 20th century history of Britain and the role of Sir Winston S. Churchill in world history. Almost all the books are written in English. The dates of publication range from the late 19th century to the 1990s.

Rare book collection (Nr. 214)

Collection of 2000 printed books published before 1850. The books cover almost all disciplines: history and theology, natural sciences, literature written by Hungarian and classical authors.
